what's wrong with a holiday treat?

so m'sia football team won the AFF Suzuki cup.
or whatever is it

this is the 1st time m'sia football team ever sucessfully made m'sians feeling proud of their team. well not all, but at least, most of them. which is a good thing :)
and so the PM, declared this friday, 31st dec, tomorrow a public holiday. as a form of appreciation to the team and also giving the m'sians a chance to celebrate this good news.

sounds good and nice enough
but idk why still got people want to complaint on this
someone commented that m'sians are being too soft and easy to be satisfied and weak and AMBITIONLESS because the PM declared friday as the public holiday just for a small cup something like that. mind you, those fellas are authentic m'sians too.
i'm not saying that this is totally wrong. personally i think the PM is overreacting on this too. nicol david and datuk leechongwei have won several titles for m'sians but why their achievement were not being granted a public holiday too?
but think of the originality of this public holiday. it's an act of appreciation to the team who first won againts the odds after so long time.
so is it wrong to show some appreciation to those people who have worked hard enough?
or maybe you can try to think from a different perspective: dont you love getting compliments and presents after scoring a full marks on your chemistry paper? ;)
what i want to say is, it's a human nature to love appreciation by people after spilling sweats and tears on some matter and they may be doing much more better after gaining respect and gratitution from people around for the next time. it's like an energy to move themselves to a better state on the next time which is not an easy task. the team is made up of human too. they wont be feeling like want to do better in their next time if they are not being appreciated

right? lol

and it's a good thing too we're easily satisfied. why live under such strain all the time? even mayday is encouraging people to be happy for what they have and hey, you're singing it everytime you visited green box red box or whatever box.
plus, if all nicol david's and leechongwei's winning also should be granted a public holiday, we probably dont have to work and go to school anymore, LOL

if you agree with me, stop complaining on this and make full use of the day to prepare your countdown partayyyy!
and dont be stingy on giving a hard welldone pat

hua hi jio ho, peeps!! :))))))
